My name is Madeleine Mackey. I am a New York based artist.
It is difficult to describe my creative process. It’s intuitive; when something powerful consumes me, I act on it. Through art I express my feelings, the stories I see around me, and the truths I hope I can inspire others to embrace.
Art is its own explanation, and can express emotions, experiences, and thoughts which cannot be put into simple sentences. My artistic expression manifests in a myriad of ways and I love using mediums such as acrylic, oil, charcoal, pencil and ink.
